It's been a while! I have been working really hard to balance my studies and music career and, if I'm honest, singing took a bit of a back seat. The hardest part, as predicted, is not having access to the Damage Studios, where I could express and throw myself into my music and create freely.
Even so, I have been writing here and there and performing at some local Open Mics in Exeter weekly where I am making a little name for myself! I've really come into my own as an artist and perform covers that I really enjoy and suit my vocal ability - soul, RnB, pop, ballads and a few diva belters too!
My writing has really been reflecting this so my own music is taking a bit of a different direction (listen above). Let me know your thoughts on this new turn for 'Alexx' and if you want to have these on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music/iTunes. I would also like to say a massive thank you to River Studios Southampton for producing, mixing and mastering these demos they've come out beautifully!

I would love to get back into recording and becoming a full time artist once more so any producers/agents out there - get in touch! I also am currently performing with backing tracks but do love the sound of proper live music so if any seriously talented guitarists wanna jam then I. AM. DOWN!

So, I have successfully made it to University and I am thriving! I'll admit the hardest thing was saying goodbye to being down the studio twice a week! Had an amazing send off though at my showcase at the end of August hosted by Damage Music Productions and Rod Soltau. You can view the videos of my performance opposite (with thanks to the lovely, talented Nina and Amber Titchener).
Rocked an open Mic session up here in Exeter a couple of weeks ago and my newest single 'Tough' was released on Spotify and iTunes (listen/purchase above).

Also, with really positive support from Pheonix FM in Brentwood, Essex, we are organising a LIVE INTERVIEW and ACOUSTIC SET on the show with the wonderful Michelle Ward! This will feature my producer Rod Soltau playing the guitar to perform an exclusive acoustic version of 'Persuade Ya'!
